1. Who we are

Your Local Broker is a trading name of IQ Financial Services Ltd (company number 17283569), 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB. IQ Financial Services Ltd is the data controller for the information you submit through this website, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC180048. You can reach us at admin@adviseriq.co.uk.

2. What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the type of enquiry you are making, and any message you choose to add. We do not ask for financial details, and you should not send them to us.

3. Why we collect it

For one purpose only: to introduce you to The Finance Seer Ltd so that one of their advisers can contact you about your enquiry. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not profile you.

4. Our lawful basis

Consent. You give it by ticking the box on the enquiry form confirming you are happy for us to share your details with The Finance Seer Ltd. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing admin@adviseriq.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

5. Who we share it with

The Finance Seer Ltd, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 1017243. They are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB481771. Once your details reach them they become a data controller in their own right, and their own privacy notice applies to what they do next.

We also use Resend, an email delivery provider, to send your enquiry to our inbox. That is the only other processor involved. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with any other broker, lender or insurer.

6. How long we keep it

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Enquiry records are retained for six years after your last contact with us, in line with the period that applies to financial services records generally.

7. Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, and to object to how we are using it. Email admin@adviseriq.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Nothing you do here is tracked across other websites.
